About us

Schalttechnik Janus Austerlitz s.r.o. is a family company specializing in the production of reed contacts ("reed switches"). Our advantage are many years of experience and a high level of know-how. We manufacture and sell reed switches / type C contacts, which we have modified to the customer's requirements. We are very flexible and rely on simple business principles: reliability, willingness, politeness and loyalty to all our customers.

The company was founded in 1985 in Munich by Ing. R. Janus and in 1992 the former company Omega-Reed GmbH moved to the Czech Republic as Schalttechnik.

We currently employ more than 50 employees and thanks to our vision to become a manufacturer of the top-quality reed switches in the world and ongoing investments, our company will carry on with the further developments and expansion.

Thanks to our reliability, flexibility and constant quality of delivered products and services, we cooperate with global partners from the electrical, automotive and consumer industries.
